William "Bill" E. Mason, Sr.

William Edward Mason, Sr. (Bill) 87 of Toledo passed away Wednesday April 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Carol his son John Mason and his son-in-law Martin Oehlers. Surviving Bill are his son William Jr. (Ronda), daughter Vicki Oehlers and son Michael Sr. (Marcia), 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Ethel Wagner and Linda Berry Garcia.

Bill was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that loved his family and always said that he was so proud of each one of them and that they were his legacy.

Bill was an avid fisherman and enjoyed trips to Florida with his wife. He started his working career at a very young age and became a Master Craftsman. He finished his career at St. John’s High School in 2005 as a Building Superintendent after 21 years of service.

Arrangements are being handled by Walter Funeral Home (4653 Glendale Ave., Toledo, OH 43614). Visitation will be Tuesday May 6th from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday May 7th at 10 am. Burial will be immediately following the service at Toledo Memorial Park.
