Virginia M Westrup

Virginia M. Westrup, 102, of Toledo passed away on May 25, 2016 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek where she had been a Creekside resident for the last fifteen years. She was born in Alpena, MI on March 31, 1914 to William and Madge Smith. Virginia received her Bachelor’s Degree from Albion College but devoted the majority of her life to the care of her family. She was also an active and longtime member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Toledo. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy A. Westrup in 2000. She is survived by her daughter Marcia (Cliff) Campbell of Perrysburg, Paulette (Karim) Schofield-N’ghiri of Gotha, FL and Fred (Cheryl) Westrup of Woodruff, SC, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren Private services for Virginia will be held in South Carolina.
