Sherrill L. Adkins

Sherrill L. Adkins, 67, former Toledo resident and most recent Maumee resident, passed away June 26, 2021 at her home. Sherrill worked as a medical aide for many years. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers around her home and yard; making crafts, and going to her boy’s baseball games as they grew up. Sherrill was born in Logan, West Virginia, (Mud Fork), on April 25, 1954 to William and Genethel (Hensley) Randolph. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and her husband, of 45 years, Clyde “Gene” Adkins in 2017 and her son Bobby Adkins in 2003. Sherrill is survived by her son, Bill (Jen) Adkins; grandchildren Kaysee, Meckenzy, Morgan, Mason and Brayden; great-grandchildren Keegan and Gracie. Also surviving are 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio.
