Royce W. "Dewey" Ruch

ROYCE W. “DEWEY” RUCH Royce “Dewey” Ruch, 84, of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2019. He was born in Luckey, OH to Walter and Alvina Ruch on February 11, 1934. He attended Troy Luckey High School before serving in the U.S. Army. Royce retired in 1994 from Wells and Associates and was a Lifetime Member of Local #50 Plumbers, Steamfitters, and Service Mechanics. He was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church. Royce loved walking in the park with his beloved dog, Thunder, and enjoyed participating in and watching a variety of sports. He was a member of Maple Grove Golf Course, the Toledo Area Horseshoe Club, and was an avid University of Toledo sports fan. Royce especially loved attending Toledo Hockey games with his buddies and going to his grandkids’ sporting events. Royce is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Patsy; sons, Tom (Michele), Tim (Tammy), and Kurt; siblings, Delores Kleine, Gene (Jane), Theone Caris, and sister-in-law, Ann; grandchildren, Tyler and Toby; and many extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Russel, and brother-in-law, Donald.
