Ronald (Ronnie) Richard McIntire, 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away August 3, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio with his loving family by his side. Ronnie was born on September 19, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Wilma E. (Pirrwitz) and Vernon Charles McIntire. He graduated from Scott High School in Toledo. In 1970, Ronnie married Nancy Lee Oliger and they were married for 57 years.

Ronnie served in the United States Army (1969 – 1975) and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Northwood VFW. Ronnie worked for Libbey Glass for 44 years. He enjoyed camping at Leidey Lake, fishing, hunting, boating, working on cars and building model cars. He belonged to “Golden Emblem Senior Citizens Club.”

Ronnie is survived by Nancy Lee, his beloved wife of 57 years; sons, Freddy (Tania) Wainsott and John Soto; sisters, Darlene (David) Biggs, Nancy Kay Rosiak (John) and Cindy (Gary) Yarberry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Lee Kantpile Cuneo; brother, Randy Joy McIntire; and parents, Wilma E. (Paul) Walker Pirrwitz and Vernon C. (Patricia) McIntire.

Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Monday, August 10th, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
