Richard E. Woods Sr.

Richard E. Woods Sr., 81, of Toledo passed away on May 20th, 2016. He was a veteran of the United States Army for which he proudly served his country. Richard worked for Wolverine Trucking, which later became McLean Trucking, for many years. He retired at age 50 after receiving many medals throughout his career. Richard is preceded in death by his parents; Roy E. Woods and Mary E. (Fisher) Woods. He is survived by his brother; Robert (Arlene) Woods, son; Lonnie Woods, daughter; Susan Potter, son; Richard (Dana) Woods Jr., and his three grandchildren; Matthew, Ryan and Amanda. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave, Toledo, for visitation on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment with United States Army Military Honors will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
