Randolph J. "Randy" Fuller

May 2, 1956 — March 29, 2022

Randolph “Randy” John Fuller age 65 of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2022 after complication from a stroke. He was surrounded by his family. Randy was born on May 2, 1956 to Orville and Helen (Reed) Fuller. He gave himself the nickname of Ranman. The Fullers raised their family in South Toledo where Randy previously resided before moving to Maumee. Randy was a graduate of E.L Bowsher High School. He attended Merchant Marine College where he then later worked for the Merchant Marines. He worked on the boats in the Great Lakes for a number of years. In his older age he worked various security jobs and patient transportation in the Toledo area. He wore his security hat with pride. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and hung his flag all year long. He enjoyed bowling as do the rest of the Fuller family. He loved to walk or ride his bike anywhere with his backpack in tow. He was the family news reporter and always kept them up to date on events via texts or phone calls no matter the hour. He was never shy to report any news either as he had the local news stations on speed dial. He was kind, compassionate, loving, and could make you belly laugh. He had his own quirkiness that only his family and close friends understood. We thank those for always treating him with the utmost respect. Although Randy never had children of his own, he was heavily involved in the lives of all his nieces and nephews as they referred to him as Uncle Ranman. His family was one of the most important aspects of his life. He loved spending time with them at holidays, birthdays, or any get together. He will be deeply missed by them. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Rick Sr.) Zibbel; brothers Bud, Kevin, and Tim (Jackie) Fuller. Nieces and nephews, Laura (Brad) Hollo, Rick Jr. (Sarah) Zibbel, Alex (Joe) King, Nick and Maddie Fuller. Great nieces and nephews Haley, Scout, Nolan and Beckam Zibbel and Anna and Luke Hollo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Helen Fuller; niece Becky Zibbel; nephew Ronnie Emrich, and sister-in-law Rosa Fuller. He is also preceded in death by his favorite dogs Sparky, Tammy and Toby. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Luke’s Hospital who assisted Randy in his care. Part of Randy’s mission in life was he wished everyone would just speak to strangers with kindness and bring peace in the world and for everyone to follow the rules, and for people just to do the right thing. Contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH, 45250-0301.
