Ola Mae Shiflett

Ola Mae Shiflett, 89, passed away on September 27, 2026. She was born on May 23, 1937, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.

Ola worked at GM Hydromantic for 22 years before retiring and devoting her time to her family. Her kindness toward others was what made her so special. She adored her grandchildren, and the love she shared with her family will remain a cherished part of her legacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Shiflett, and her daughter, Kathy Kowalski. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Johnson; her grandson, Robert Lee; her granddaughter, Suzanne (Dustin) Face; her great-grandchildren, Nathan Stuckey, Brandon Shoffer, Kyleigh Lee, and Sophia Face; and great-great grandson, Bentley Stuckey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, followed by the funeral service at noon. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Ola will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness and devotion to her family and the love she gave so freely.
