Martin L. Harris

Martin L. Harris, 95, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Glendale Assisted Living. Martin was born on August 26, 1926 in Umatilla, Florida to Martin Cooper and Mary Elizabeth Harris. He was a truck driver most of his life, delivering everything from cookies and milk locally to large equipment and steel nationwide. He enjoyed telling stories about his many adventures on the road to his friends and relatives. Martin is survived by daughter-in-law, Marilyn Harris; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sherry), James, (Melanie), Corey (Keri) Harris and Holly (Jon) Chapp; nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Edna; sons James Harold Harris and Ted J. Harris and sister, Mary Joyce DeWalt. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania, OH
