Martha J. Phillips, 91, of Abundant Life in Perrysburg passed away on July 14, 2025 at the Lakes of Monclova. Martha was born November 4, 1933 in Custar, OH to John and Mary (Bumberger) Wilhelm.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Kent Snyder. She is survived by children: Bonnie (Dan) Baxley, Wayne (Debbie) Phillips, Pat (Karen) Phillips, Kim Snyder, Scott (Marcia Phillips) and Tim Phillips. She is also survived by Sister Mary Phillips, 15 Grandchildren, 39 Great-Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. Toledo, Ohio on Sunday July 20th 2025 from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St. in Perrysburg, Monday, July 21st at 10:30 AM. Martha will be laid to rest at St Louis Cemetery in Custar at 3 PM on Monday.
The family wants to express their gratitude and thanks to the staff at Lakes of Monclova for their compassion in caring for Martha and her family members during the past several years. Also, thanks to the loving care given to her by Hospice of Northwestern Ohio. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of the donor’s choice.
