Marilyn J. Ball
It is with a heavy heart the we announce that our mother has passed away at Flower Hospital, Sylvania Oh, on October 22, 2026.
She was 94 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward J. and Edna F. (Buck) Krueger, her husbands Daniel Deible Jr. and Harry Ball, her daughter Theresa L. Deible and her granddaughter Heather (Spencley) Briscoe.
She is survived by her only remaining sibling, Shirley M. Kitchen. She is also survived by her children: Sue Roesler, Carol (Al) Roberts, Mary Spencley, Sharon Bobb, Daniel Deible III, Laurie (Tommy) Tunison, Marilyn Gerathy, and Granddaughters she raised after their mother died in 1987, Nicole (Ricky) Kanneman and Corinna (fiancé, Dan) Rupprecht. 18 grand-children and many great and great-great grand-children.
Marilyn had worked most recently in various catering businesses and finally working for Sylvania City schools as a bus aid and cafeteria worker. She retired at the glorious age of 80.
She enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting, crocheting and doing word search puzzles. But her greatest joy was being a grandma.
The family wants to extend their thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at UTMCO, Eidi Family Rehab Center and Flower Hospital for the care and dedication you showed our mom.
