Margaret McNett

Margaret D. McNett, 98, of south Toledo passed away on October 4, 2025 at the Elizabeth Scott Community in Maumee. Margaret was born on December 9, 1926 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Henry L Rose and Elsie L. (Roberts) Rose.

Margaret worked for many years at the Lucas County Title Bureau and was a member of Monclova Road Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents husband John McNett and son David McNett; siblings Henry, Kenneth and Jack Rose and Vernadell Davis and Shirley Lafferty.

She is survived by daughter Darlene Simpkins, daughter in law Pamela McNett; Grandchildren David (Shawnda) and Rob (Anitra) Simpkins and John (Monica), Adam (Kelly) and Sean (Sarah) McNett. She is also survived by 18 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Friends may call on Friday October 10, 2025 from 9 AM to 11 AM at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., where services will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
