John F. Swing Sr.

John F. Swing, Sr., age 88, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. John was born on January 1, 1930 to Harry and Clara (Gruber) Swing, in Tiffin, Ohio. John worked and retired from Toledo Public Schools. He owned and operated K.O.’s Lounge in south Toledo for many years. He was an avid golfer, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Jean, and son John F. Swing, Jr. He is survived by his son, Michael Swing Sr.; grandchildren Mike Jr. (Staci), Amanda (Michael), Mallory (Brian), Devin and John Swing III; great-grandchildren Mylah, Lennon and Myles. There will be a private family celebration of John’s Life. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
