Irene A. Futrell

Irene A. Futrell, 89 of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Hospice of NW Ohio on Detroit Ave. Irene was born on August 1, 1926 in Hurst, IL to Herbert and Annie Futrell. She had attended the State School for the Deaf and was very active for many years in the Toledo Deaf Club. Irene was also a member of the Good Shepherd of the Deaf Lutheran Church. Irene was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews and is survived by a sister Bonnie McKenna and brother Herbert Futrell. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
