Hattie Tarquinto, 95, of south Toledo, passed away March 26, 2016. Hattie was born in West Virginia on May 3, 1920. She attended high school in West Virginia and later moved to south Toledo, where she lived the rest of her life. Hattie was a pioneer in the food industry as one of the first female sales representatives in the Toledo area. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church Parish where she enjoyed helping at church festivals and was an avid poker player. Hattie was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Delores (David) Price, Joseph (Janie) Tarquinto and Jerry Tarquinto. She has eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, from 2-8 PM on Monday, April 4th with a memorial prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgewood Manor for the wonderful care she received for the last 15 years and the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for making her last days comfortable.
