Harley Wulff, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025. His family was thankful for his long and healthy life. Harley recently celebrated his 99th birthday.

Harley attended Burroughs school and graduated from Libbey High School. He attended the University of Toledo, majoring in Chemistry, until he was drafted for WWII. He was an Army Technical Sergeant T5 and stationed in Manila and Japan. Harley worked at Sun Oil Refinery for 40 years. He was a Senior Laboratory Technician, specializing in gasoline blending testing processes.

Church and faith were very important to Harley. He was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a current member of First Presbyterian Church of Maumee. He held many positions at both churches. Harley was also a Master Mason and an active member of the Triad and Barton Smith Masonic Lodges for over 75 years.

Harley was a volunteer naturalist for the Toledo Metroparks for 35 years. He was active in many organizations, including Junior Achievement, Genealogy, American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians, and many committees at Sun Oil. Harley was a founding member of the Sun Federal Credit Union. He was also a Proctor for the University of Toledo Medical College.

Harley is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Rose Ann (Snyder); daughters, Diane (Howard) Haas, Deborah (Kevin) LaZette, and Denise Potts; grandchildren, Brad Potts, David (Linda) Potts, Danielle (Jamie) Clay, and Bryan (Courtney) LaZette; great-grandchildren, Connor Potts and fiancé Rylee Smith, Aubrey and Carter Clay, Vivienne LaZette, and Allison and Lauren Sloan. He is also survived by two younger brothers, Mannister Wulff of Dearborn Heights, MI and Richard Wulff of Garden Grove, CA. Harley is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn Riedel; and sister-in-law, Lillian (Fudge) Wulff.

Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio, on Tuesday, December 9, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Masonic Lodge Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Maumee, 200 E. Broadway, Maumee. The family will receive guest beginning at 9:15 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, 620 W. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, Ohio.

The family suggest any donations be made to: The Browning Masonic Community of Waterville, The National WWII Museum (nationalww2museum.org), or First Presbyterian Church of Maumee.

The family would like to thank Ohioans Home Hospice staff for their compassionate care during his brief illness.
