Floyd Rufenacht, Jr.

Floyd Rufenacht Jr., 89, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his home. Floyd was born on June 3, 1932, to Floyd Sr. and Margaret (Fader) Rufenacht. Floyd proudly served his country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division, as a paratrooper. He worked for Ohio Bell Telephone Company for over 30 years. He enjoyed his membership in the Ohio Bell Telephone Pioneers of America. Floyd was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. For over 30 years, Floyd and his wife wintered in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Barbara; sons Charles Rufenacht and Thomas Piper. He is survived by his wife Ann Wilcox Rufenacht; daughter Susan Rufenacht; son Todd Piper; sister Evelyn (Bob) Shafer and nephew Dale (Sheri) Shafer and grandson Jason Piper. To honor Floyd’s wishes there will be no formal services.
