E. Joyce Metty

E. Joyce Metty, 93, of Toledo passed away on October 21, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Detroit Avenue. Joyce was born on July 22, 1928 in Norfolk, VA to George and Martha Littrell. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years and was a longtime member of St Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, where she loved to hear her favorite hymn How Great Thou Art. Joyce had been a resident at Ohio Living Swan Creek. Preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2016, they were happily married for 69 years. Joyce is survived by her brother George Hayes Littrell, Jr. and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held for Joyce on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 10 AM in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave., Toledo, Ohio.
