Doris Anne Gribble

Doris Anne Gribble, 92, passed away into the Lord’s loving arms on February 6, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born March 20, 1923 to Emma and Robert Brewer and was married 69 years to the love of her life, Edwin, who preceded her in death. Doris was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School for 55 years. Doris was an avid reader in her later years and loved to bake pies. She was also preceded in death by her sons Ronnie and Danny. A caring mother to all her children, she is survived by Patricia (Milton) Pommeranz, Kathy (Galen) Molnar, and Mark (Cindy) Gribble Also surviving are daughter-in-law Terrie and her sister Joyce, 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10 AM- Noon on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 708 S. Erie, Toledo, 43609, where funeral services will begin at Noon with Pastor Daniel Mohr, officiating. Interment will be private for the immediate family.
