Donald H. Carr

Donald H. Carr, 83, of Toledo passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016, in Orchard Villa. Don was born on May 10, 1932, in Toledo to Mildred (Hall) and Leo Chester Carr. Donald was a veteran having served in Army and also the Air National Guard. He worked for Doehler-Jarvis and Johns-Manville until his retirement. Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Carr, and brothers, Gary and Leo Carr. He is survived by sons, William and Douglas (Linda) Carr; brother, Kenneth (Ann) Carr; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests at The Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave. on Thursday, January 14, 2016, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
