Dana J Darnell

Dana J. Darnell, 64, beloved sister, partner and friend passed away on May 12, 2025 due to illnesses unknown. Dana was a private person who loved all plants, animals and nature. She was very opinionated but would tell you the truth whether you liked it or not. She would also help anyone in any way she could if possible

Dana worked as a machinist in her younger years and then as a store clerk for many years later on in life. Please take comfort in knowing that her passing went quickly and peacefully with family by her side.

She is survived by her life partner Gean Seger, sister Rhonda (Dave) Jenkins, brother Daniel Darnell and step-children Cindy and Larry Seger, Chris (Matt) Stiner and Jeff Seger. Dana is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A special thank you to the staff at UTMC for their care during Dana’s time of need. No funeral services at the current time but a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
