D. Jeffery “Jeff” Glore, 61, of Toledo, tragically passed away Monday September 8th, 2025. Jeff had a heart of gold, the biggest smile, and a laugh that will never go unheard.
Jeff was born on April 3rd, 1964 at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from E.L. Bowsher High School with the Class of 1982. He made many friends, some that would last a lifetime, who would all confidently say he was full of life, character, and that he sure knew how to party.
Jeff has two beloved daughters. He welcomed Kasidy into the world on August 24th, 1999, and Jillian on July 12th, 2003. They were his entire world, he would do anything for his girls without question, and he made sure everyone knew how proud he was of them.
Jeff was known for his love of boating, hockey, and of course 80’s rock music — Motley Crue specifically. If you were with him on his boat, in the car, or anywhere with him you knew the music was going to be good, and loud. He always had so many stories to share about all of the concerts he attended, and whenever Motley Crue played, you knew he was singing along. The rink was his home away from home, when he wasn’t playing hockey he loved coaching too. He was on his boat any chance that he could get, going fast and never wanting to stop. If he could’ve driven his boat to the ends of the Earth, he would have.
Jeff had a spirit and personality that was larger than life, contrary to his tough exterior. He would do anything for anyone that asked, without question. He cared so deeply for those in his life. His work ethic was praiseworthy and never wavering. You could always find him on the weekends splitting firewood, fixing someone’s car, or just helping anyone with anything that they needed.
Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents Harry and Betty Detzer, and Ken and Jean Glore; his uncles John, Jimmy, and Jeff Detzer; his great-niece Millie Warner; and his partner Jackie Wilcox.
Jeff is survived by his daughters Kasidy Glore and Jillian Glore; his loving parents Don and Joan Glore; his siblings David (Lana), Beth, and Daniel (Christine) Glore; Lucas & Kara (Glore) Maynard; Zach & Anna (Glore) Warner, his great-nephew Cole Warner; his daughters’ mother Maureen; and a community of friends and loved ones that will forever honor his life and love, including his dear friends Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, and Mick Mars.
Jeff lived his life with his heart on his sleeve, his head held high, and a spirit like a “Live Wire”. His soul lives on forever and will never fade.
