Constance (Connie) Pieper, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Sylvania. Connie worked for The National Bank Building as an elevator operator, and following her years as a stay-at-home mom she went back to work at Hickory Farms and at the Lion Store (Dillards) as a sales clerk in the drapery department. She also worked at consignment. Connie was named after the actress Constance Bennett, by her father. She was in a bowling league and played Bunco for 44 years. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She always loved going to Las Vegas to visit her sister Donna.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Jane Titus. She is survived by her special friend Bill Pieper; daughters, Deborah (Donald) Grodi, Christine (Thomas) Lather, and Melissa Robinson; grandchildren, Eddie (Beth), Ian, Heather (Kodie), Alexzandria (Desmond), and Hunter; Kierstyn (Alex), Skyelar, and many great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Jack Titus, Donna Loomis, and Bob Titus; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio on Thursday, April 23rd, from 2 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4100 Harvest Lane in Toledo, will begin Friday April 24th at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:30. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio. A luncheon will follow.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
