Clifford L Kaighin

KAIGHIN Clifford L. Clifford L. Kaighin, 86, of Toledo, Ohio, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on November 23, 2016 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Clifford was a 1948 graduate of Scott High School and attended the University of Toledo, where he played football. He was a member of the Bowsher High School Boosters, and he helped construct the stands at the Bowsher High School Stadium. Clifford enjoyed playing softball and he also officiated basketball games. He worked as an estimator for Budsticker Co., Kaighin and Hughes, Wm Ferrell Co., and Gem Industrial. Clifford is survived by his wife, of 66 years, Rosemary Rominski Kaighin, sons Steve (Ann), Dave (Tina), Cliff (Jill) and Bill Kaighin, daughter Laurie (Denny) Dixon. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; Trisha (Bryan) Jensen, Stephanie (Matt) Sortor, Derek (Lucy) Kaighin, Angela Kaighin, Denny (Ashley) Dixon, Tori (Michael) Yuschak, Tiffany (Kyle) Williams, Matt Kaighin, Joshua Dixon, Dana Kaighin and Sean Dixon, 9 great-grandchildren: Autumn, Aubrey, Nathan, Lucas, Ashleigh, Skyler, Kaiden, Kyleigh and Hailey and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, on Friday, December 2nd from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
