Brenda Lynn (Sharp) Mason, age 76, of Bowling Green, OH went to be with her Lord and Savior while holding the hand of her beloved husband on July 27, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
She was born on June 15, 1949 in Elk Valley, TN to Virgil Lee and Susie (Baird) Sharp. For 55 years, she was the loving and devoted wife of Raymond Earl Mason. Brenda was the proud mother of Heather Frank, Matthew Mason (Jane) and Hollie Timko (Ron). As a “Mamaw”, she adored her grandchildren, Kennedy (Alex), Brayden, Andon, Karsyn, Chazden, Sawyer, Thadden and Jack.
As a woman of deep faith, she never went a day without praying for her family and friends during her cherished time of morning devotions, where she enjoyed reading her Bible, Our Daily Bread, and other devotionals. Brenda started her career as a cosmetologist and quickly became a passionate homemaker who loved raising her children. She volunteered at many church functions and activities throughout the years. She thoroughly enjoyed card making and paper crafts (her family and friends loved receiving her handmade greeting cards), sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, antiquing, gardening, baking, and writing poems. She filled her home with “magazine worthy” seasonal handmade crafts that were loved by all. She also loved traveling with Ray, family, or friends to her favorite destination, Amish Country in Ohio.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Sammy Lee Sharp. She is survived by her husband, her three children, her grandchildren, her sister Dororthy Douglas of Piqua, OH, and her brother James Sharp of La Pine, OR.
The family would like to thank all of her family, friends, and the staff at Hospice in Perrysburg for the care and support they provided during Brenda’s illness.
The family will receive guests at a Wake on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 4pm - 8pm at Plain Congregational Church, 16011 West Poe Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402.
