Mary E. Badman, 94, formerly of Toledo passed away on January 16, 2019 in Okemos , MI. Mary was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 8, 1924 to Ralph and Mary Holden. She married Marvin Badman and he preceded her in death in 1989. Mary was a devoted wife and homemaker that devoted her life to care of her family. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church and also was a member of the Eastern Stars Triune Chapter No. 344. Mary loved volunteering especially for church functions where she helped with the Clothes drives and their Friday night fish fry’s. An avid vegetable gardener, she also enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren whom she also taught to swim in her pool. Mary was also known for making the best cheese cake, pickled beets, deviled eggs and pickle/bologna spread. Mary is survived by her daughter Elaine (David) Perry, son David (Fran) Badman; grandchildren Jason, Ryan, & Steven Perry, Kristin Davis, Thomas, Anthony and Shelley Badman and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Grace Grill and brother Hank Holden. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue, Toledo, Ohio from 2 to 8 p.m. with a brief time of prayer at 7:45 p.m. Private interment will be held at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania.
